What is action research?
Action research has long been a method used in the field of education by teachers and related stakeholders to solve immediate problems, reflect on the situation, and improve their practice. It has promoted the local construction of knowledge, empowering educators to engage in communities of practice. In doing so, this method has also proved to be both an effective research tool while at the same time acting as a meaningful instrument of teacher education and professional development.

Land Acknowledgement
CAARE-ACRAÉ is a community of educators and scholars from many traditional territories. While this is a virtual space, we recognize the importance of the land on which each of us are located. We acknowledge the territory to reaffirm our commitment and responsibility in building positive relationships between nations and in developing a deep understanding of Indigenous peoples and their cultures. From coast to coast to coast, we acknowledge the ancestral and unceded territory of all Inuit, First Nations, and Métis peoples.
